Also, we aim to bring liquidity to the Real-Estate market by attracting more sophisticated investors and allowing them to work directly with the consumer through smart contracts. Here they will be able to lend, lease, buy and sell Real Property in a highly liquid manner or on-demand, if you will.

Problems Square Block Aims to Solve and Solutions to Implement:
1. Continuously growing real-estate costs and inflation.
- Recurring Boom and Bust Cycles in the real-estate market and Inflation may cause prices to rise or fall drastically. We have seen this in the Seventies, Eighties, Nineties, and Two Thousand’s. We see price gouging and runaway inflation during the 2020 – 2022 pandemic. In times like this, people struggle to identify where and what cost to purchase a home they can afford and keep.
- The solution to this problem is straightforward – first, figure out your lifestyle, decide where you want to live, select the property that will suit you and your family, and make a purchase “RIGHT.” For some of us, it may be true; for others, it is not, and this is where we come to a real problem. We need at least an initial deposit/down payment, and when we make an actual purchase, we must borrow the rest of the money from somewhere.
- Square Block aims to allow you to gradually build your initial deposit and down payment by directly investing your money in real estate. So, if property prices rise, your down payment grows with it, and if prices fall, you will have an opportunity to Dollar Cost Average and take advantage of falling prices. The most important thing is you will not be losing your value due to inflation or price gouging.
2. Difficulty acquiring an initial deposit (down payment) for property purchase.
- Unfortunately, whatever money you manage to save loses its purchasing power because of inflation and market volatility. No matter how fast you save, you lose. It becomes a neverending catchup game. For low-income families and individuals, it becomes an impossible task. This is how the poor and low-income stay poor and cannot get any assets or grow at least some wealth.
- To help low-income families and individuals, Square Block aims to create a platform where everyone will have the same investment opportunity. Have $1.00 to invest or 100 million dollars; you will get the same treatment. The smart contract will manage your money, and the rules will be the same for everyone. By pooling your funds together with other individuals like you, you will be able to participate in more lucrative and robust investments. You can become a Real Estate investor, a Mortgage Lender, or a Liquidity Provider, or spread your assets and get involved in all these activities.
- By following Square Block’s investment philosophy, you will be able to grow your wealth and have control over it. You can decide when to invest and when to get out.

- Getting Real Estate financing is becoming more and more difficult every year. The more difficult it becomes to get the financing, the more interest Banks charging they Mortgage customers. Also, most of the time, they will require posting a 20% deposit on purchase and having a perfect credit history. If those conditions cannot be satisfied, the Banks will require additional documentation, prepayment of the interest points, and charge a higher interest rate, just to name a few. Basically, Lending Banks will come up with every possible excuse to charge more for a loan. And if something goes wrong and payment cannot be made on time, the investor stands to lose everything.
